Beginnings:

Sweet Water was born out of a vision to bring tangible, practical help to couples struggling to hold their marriages and families together in a swiftly growing but largely ignored segment of the American population--the stepfamily.

The Vision:

The objective of this center is to equip, encourage and strengthen couples in their stepfamilies and marriages through biblically-based instruction in a non-threatening environment with a tranquil setting and to provide premarital counseling and education for couples considering marriage with children.

Teaching:

Sweet Water's teaching materials, curriculum, seminars and workshops are specifically designed to: encourage, equip, and strengthen marriages by addressing the emotional and sometimes bitter issues related to their unique stepfamily situations. All materials are Biblically based and relevant for the 21st century.

Location:

The center will be located in Pearcy, Arkansas. It will contain a 2800 square foot lodge, 5 to 6 suites of cabins, as well as grounds that will include nature trails and a chapel.
