Thank you to all of my friends who made me feel welcome during my stay in the U.S. I have made so many new contacts and have learned much that will be useful in the workings of the hospital. May the Lord bless each one of you.

*** Urgent Need ***

We recieved an email from Monique Mubiru, director of Ray of Hope Medical Center, recently detailing an urgent need in Uganda. Please read the information below:

Dear Friends,

I greet you in the name of our faithful Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I say faithful, because I am humbled and amazed at what He has done for so many hurting people through Terri Clark Ministries, Inc.. and our outreach in Uganda, East Africa.

I do not normally send out appeals for financial support, but I recently became aware of an urgent need in our Ugandan hospital. The Ray of Hope Medical Center is a unique facility in the very impoverished community of Ntinda, and those who are treated there have nowhere else to go for help. All 500 children in our sponsorship program *whether they have sponsors or not) are treated there. WIthout medicines, our Ugandan doctors and nurses can only pray and advise. They work for next to nothing; however, they too have family needs and depend on their meager salaries.
Our hospital's director and my dear friend, Monique Mubiru, expressed an urgent need for medical supplies, financial help, and prayer in a recent email.

"Thank you for your prayers and continue... The domestic violence has become the order of the day due to?the increased poverty. We have worked this whole month at the clinic, all the medicine is gone and we have not enough money for the salaries. We are praying and trusting God for we are not of the earth and our God is our provider. I am not worried--we are getting a chance of witnessing for Him through these kind acts."

                             - Monique

Would you prayerfully consider giving $25, %50, $100, or more to help meet this critical need? We are seeking to raise $6,000 by March 31 to make available essential medicines and to provide adequately for the care givers. Please pray for Monique, the doctors, nurses, and staff as well as those who come to the Ray of Hope Medical Center for treatment. Please note "ROH" in the memo of your check if you are able to give. May God return every blessing to you and your family.

Gratefully yours in Christ's abundant love,

Terri Clark
President and Founder

P.S. Your gifts will be used to supply critical medicines for the needy in the treatment of malaria, typhoid, AIDS, and other communicable diseases. Thank you for your prayers and parthership.

The following is an update from Pastor John Mubiru, Evangelical Outreach Minister at Christ Centered Church and husband of Monique Mubiru, administrator of the Ray of Hope Medical Center :

"I want to first of all thank the Lord for the financial support which I have received from Terri Clark Ministries. It has impacted my ministry a great deal and I truly thank God.

I have been invited to different parts of the country for seminars and crusades. With the support, I have been able to fulfill my callings. In July and August, the money I received helped me to organize a big crusade and seminar in Zibba, Kyagwe district. 65 people accepted Christ as their savior and 7 shrines were burnt. I used the money for fuel, hiring a generator and hiring machines.

In September, we went to Kasese in a place called Lwema for a crusade and seminar. The mission lasted 5 days and 45 people accepted Christ. We received a report from the pastors in that area that many people's lives were touched. We had to go further into the village so transport was expensive.

In October, we had 2 seminars in Ssembabule district in two different areas. The first was in the 1st week of October, people came from far places so we had to provide lunch for them. The 2nd seminar was in the last week and it ended on the 1st Sunday of November. We also had people from many different churches and some also walked or used bicycles a distance of 30 miles just to attend the conference. God delivered many people including a girl and a lady who had suffered rare complication for 7 and 5 years respectively. We also had a powerful seminar in Ssembabule district which ended the month of December. Over 300 people attended. When people in church started hearing testimonies from these gatherings we were having, they are now getting involved.

I had the pleasure of ministering with my wife Monique, Pr. Ssimbwa Peter, Dr. Abed Bwanika and other pastors from Kampala in a conference in Gomba. The conference started on 5th - 10th Jan this year, we had a congregation of about 500 people from over 33 different churches. We had to provide lunch and supper for these people. During the conference, we organized a crusade and 25 people accepted Christ. We decided to have the conference every year."

The following is the rough out line of the activities of 2009.

5th to 7th Feb - Seminar in Kyaggwe, Ngogwe

2nd to 8th of March - Seminar and crusade in Kasese

11th to 15th of March - Conference in Masaka, Kyemamba (deep in the herdsmen's villages

12th to 16th of May - Seminar in Kalyambuzi Island

8th to 14th of June - Bweyale, SSembabule district
