To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven
Eccl 3:1

A Word From Terri

As the seasons change and another year passes by I have to wonder at God's awesomeness. One day, while up on the mountain I felt a gentle breeze blowing. The leaves had already transformed from green to various hues of yellows, reds and browns. I watched as wisps of invisible wind urged the dry foliage from the branches to the ground.  One by one the leaves floated gently down forming a blanket below. Before my very eyes the season was changing.  Today, the leaves have fallen, the air is colder and suddenly it's winter.

Changing seasons are very much like time.  You know it's moving along, but because the transition is one second at a time, it seems to drag.  Then in a moment, you realize you're standing in another season of life.  The seasons of my life and this ministry seem to be moving along at a similar pace.  Like the leaves, the colors of TCM's work have changed and the gentle blowing of the Holy Spirit has urged a part of this ministry to a close.

This year, God has shown me very clearly that it is this season's end for the Women's Ministry branch of Terri Clark Ministries, Inc.  TCM had its beginning in ministry to women, and women's needs have been very close to my heart over the years.  On many levels, this decision has been very difficult, reached only after a lot of prayerful consideration and grieving.  In light of this decision, I will be fulfilling my commitments to women's ministry in 2008, but will no longer be booking engagements for women's seminars, retreats, etc. unless the topic is related to marriage or family.

Please be encouraged in knowing God is the beginning and the end of all things.  He is the author and finisher of our faith, as well as the seasons of life and ministry.   Even though TCM's season for women's ministry has passed, God continues to advance time to bring about new life in other areas.  I am very excited to see what God is doing in the Blended Family and Uganda branches of Terri Clark Ministries, Inc.  He is so faithful.  I'll be sharing some of these exciting advances later in the body of this newsletter.

May God bless, guide and prosper you and your loved ones as you close 2007 in celebration of Jesus' birth this Christmas season.

Merry Christmas!

TCM Opens New Office

Well it's happened!  Terri Clark Ministries, Inc. has burst at the seams.  For the last ten years, we've managed to handle all the ministry work out of my home.  But after taking over two and a half rooms and every nook and cranny for computers, supplies, file cabinets, tons of paperwork, and shipping materials, TCM's volunteer workers and I, just ran out of room.

As an incredible answer to our prayers, Terri Clark Ministries, Inc. was gifted an unlimited lease on eleven acres of beautiful wooded property.  A move-in ready building sits atop this property with an absolutely breathtaking view of the Arkansas landscape below.

The new ministry office and the adjoining property will be called, "Sweet Water."   The name comes from Exodus 15, where God made the bitter water sweet.  This Scripture text is key in TCM's Blended Family Marriage Ministry which will be headquartered in this new location.  God has given me an incredible vision for Sweet Water.  The vision includes bringing refreshment, healing and health to blended marriages here through conferences and  retreats.

Terri Clark Ministries, Inc. will be moved into its new location by the end of this year.  We will retain the same mailing address and telephone number.  Plan to come to our Grand Opening and Open House-look for details on TCM's website and in up coming newsletters.

Children's Sposorship Program

Just a few years into this education program, we now have 152 children sponsored by people like you.  These children live a very hard life of poverty and are quite familiar with death and disease.  Many have lost parents, siblings and other relatives to AIDs.  Receiving a sponsor to pay their school fees, brings hope for a future.  Because this entire program is done in Jesus' Name, many children and their families receive salvation.  If you would like to sponsor a child, you can choose a child on my website, http://www.terriclarkministries.org/.  Start your new year by giving a gift of hope to a Ugandan child.

Ray of Hope Medical Center

The construction work is continuing on this much needed medical facility in Ntinda, Uganda.  The second of three floors is nearing completion.  This additional 2000 sq. ft. of floor space will provide an in-patient ward, lab and surgical room.  Our prayer is to have the construction finished by the end of the first quarter of 2008.  To do this, we still need approximately $15,000.  That's just $5000 a month for the next three months!  With God, all things are possible.

2008 Mission Trip

We are gathering team members for our next mission trip in June 2008.  We need medical professionals in dental and general medicine!  Our next mission will be medical in nature, however we are also taking senior youth to minister in the schools while the medical mission is working in the new second floor of our clinic.  For an information packet, contact Terri Clark.

Ministry of the Word-India

In October, I traveled to the exotic land of Northeast India with Nancy Pennington of Firefall International.  The purpose of the mission was to train Christian leaders through the teaching of God's Word.  The first conference was in Siliguri, West Bengal, attended by approximately 150 young Christian leaders from several neighboring Himalayan people groups.  The second conference was in Tripura near Bangladesh.  In this conference we were with a tribal group who had never received Christian training from outside.  For some, we were the first western faces they had ever seen.

In Siliguri, Jesus walked among us as Nancy spoke from Psalm 121, "I will lift up my eyes..."  Her encouragement to not only remember who you are, but whose you are resonated in all our hearts.  Near the end of the second conference, I was gripped with the overwhelming darkness over the nation of India.  Our mission trip happened to be during the festival, Durga Puja, celebrating a ten-armed goddess.  I asked the one, true, Living God, to give me His heart for these people.  That night my heart was broken for the lost who blindly bow down to lifeless idols of stone.  The next day, there was an incredible breakthrough in the women.  Many wept openly as they exchanged shame for righteousness and fear for confidence.  They were equipped to go out and share Jesus' love with their people.  I will forever hold on to the memory of the power of Jesus' love radiating from their faces as we said our goodbyes.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

As you gather with loved ones, family and friends this holiday season, rejoice and remember, Jesus came just for you!
God sent His only son with one thing in mind-His love for you.  Yes, He came to suffer and die, but Jesus' death was swallowed up in victory as He rose from the grave.  Because of this selfless act of love, we-you and me-now have access to our heavenly Father for all eternity.  Wow!  This is something to celebrate!  Terri
